NYX Golf has teamed with Sved Optics to create the lightest and most complete sports optical system in existence. The prescription lenses of the intraSPX^TM optical insert (U.S. Patent No. 5,790,230) are mounted on a specially designed nosepiece that closely conforms to the NYX sunglass lenses. The combination of insert and sunglass lens weighs in at only 1.2 ounces and gives the wearer the wrap and coverage not available in conventional prescription eyewear. The insert can be used with all 3 sunglass lenses availing the wearer all of the benefits of the NYX Golf 3 lens system.

Prescription Insert Features:

IntraSPX^TM is available in 2 formats. The shield styles (Tour Shield, Carbon, and Blue Steel) utilize a removable insert that snaps into the nosepiece. The Classic Competition style utilizes an insert that is permanently attached to the frame. You can still easily interchange the sunglass lenses.

The Fairway Metal style employs an optical grade frame and is available with conventional prescription lenses. You can choose to have your prescription lenses tinted in either a solid or gradient tint.

Lens Material Choices:

Plastic CR-39 - This lens material is the most economical. Plastic is the least impact resistant of the lens materials offered.

Polycarbonate - This material is 20-30% thinner and lighter than Cr-39 plastic. Polycarbonate is the most impact resistant of any lens material and is strongly recommended for use in active sports. Scratch resistant coating is included.

Polycarbonate 1.0 - This is the thinnest, lightest lens material in existence. This material is recommended for stronger prescriptions. Scratch resistant coating is included.

Hi Index Plastic - This material lacks the impact resistance of Polycarbonate 1.0 but is comparable in thickness and weight. Hi Index material is considered to have the best optics available in a thin lens design.

The intraSPX^TM insert is not available in all prescriptions. If you have a strong prescription, please call us at 800-878-5960 to see if it is compatible with the intraSPX^TM system.

How to Order:

If you already own the sunglasses, just follow the instructions on the prescription card that can be found inside your sunglass case.

If you do not own the sunglasses or if the prescription card is no longer in your case, you can purchase the prescription or prescription/sunglass combination directly from NYX Golf. NYX Golf will give you a money back guarantee on the entire purchase (prescription and sunglasses) if you are dissatisfied for any reason. NYX will also pledge to work with you (at no cost to you) if any adjustments are needed to either the sunglasses or the prescription insert.

Please follow these instructions if you would like to order on line:

1. Select the sunglasses that you prefer from the Styles page on this web site. All of our styles are available in prescription.
2. Click the Purchase Online button associated with your selected style. You will then need to purchase the prescription or prescription/sunglass combination. The prescription options will be listed near the bottom of the page.
3. E-mail Sales@nyxgolf.com or fax (972-385-8607) your doctor's prescription including your P.D. (Pupil Distance). Please reference the order number that you receive online at the completion of your purchase in Step 2 above. You will receive your sunglasses and prescription in separate packages within 3 weeks.

Warranty Information:

30 Day Non Adapt - Sved Optics gives you 30 days to test drive the intraSPX^TM insert. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, just send the insert back and you will receive a full refund.

60 Day Rx Change - If your Dr. changes your prescription within 60 days of purchase, just send the intraSPX^TM insert back to us with your new prescription and we'll remake it at no charge. Please include a check or money order for $4.00 to cover shipping and handling.

1 Year Mounting - If the lenses on your insert loosen or detach, we will remount the lenses at no charge for up to one year from purchase. After one year we will remount the lenses for $7.50. Please include any mounting charge and $4.00 for shipping and handling.
